Back in 1632, Mare Radolovich, a herbalist from Svetvinčenat, was accused by her fellow citizens of being the witch that had sealed a pact with the devil. Despite her herbs helped and healed many of the citizens, Mare was unanimously condemned to burn at the stake in the courtyard of the Chateau of Grimani-Morosini.
